Our Story

Circa 1985 I was asked by my mother to come help with the dishes at a restaurant in my home town of Brewster on Cape Cod, in the state of Massachusetts. Little did I know that was the beginning of a life long career in the food service industry. I was 14 years old at the time. After high school I travelled the country apprenticing under various chefs learning my craft. My dad bought me my first set of chef knives around 1992. I earned my first chef job at 24. For the next 20 years I would hone my skills, refine my recipes and hold chef positions at many notable restaurants in New England. In 2011 my journey would lead me to the island of Martha’s Vineyard. This is where I opened 3 Italian pizza restaurants, and became a dad. My son Wolf is the inspiration for my businesses and their names. Also a significant piece of my history, is my travels with the rock and roll band “The Grateful Dead”. The leader of the band, Jerry Garcia, would play a guitar fondly referred to as “The Wolf” by deadheads. This was the inspiration for my sons name. So “Wolf” has been in my business names in various forms from the start( my restaurants were named Wolfs Den Pizzerias”). I sold my restaurants in 2019 and went back into the work force. Then, the pandemic started. I thought, what do I do now? I have all this wonderful food that needs another home. How do I change my platform to continue to offer my food to the public? Then the thought came. We all still need to eat. We do not always like, or have the time, to cook. Some of my high quality recipes may be able to be packaged. What an intimidating thought this was. I have never offered any of my food for wholesale or retail selling. So here I am, on this new journey in food service. I am currently jarring my wonderful Marinara sauce and other variations of this sauce such as “Puttanesca”, “Roasted garlic”, “Kids spaghetti sauce” , Etc. Also soon you will be able to find my award winning pizza in the freezer section of your local grocery stores. I have many more recipes under consideration for my new line of foods, so follow me here, or on social media for all the exciting new recipes coming to stores near you. “What a long strange trip its been”… We are “Truckin” towards a new and exciting future.
